Prayer Ministry Team

Monthly Meetings

• Prayer Ministry members meet monthly generally on the Second Sunday at 1:15 pm in the Music Room.
• Members pray for the parish along with other specific intentions.
• The prayer box containing private prayer requests is also prayed over. 

Prayer Ministry Weekend & Holy Hours

• Trained ministers are scheduled to pray over people during the first weekend (after the 10 am and noon Masses) of every month in addition to Holy Hours.
• You must be trained in order to pray over people. Training is available.

Prayer Warriors

• Prayer Warriors fulfill this role of praying for intentions on their own time. This important ministry is done from the comfort of their own home but they are always welcome to attend any meetings. 

• Parishioners are invited to meet with the prayer team about their prayer intentions or request to be prayed over. This is accomplished during Prayer Ministry Weekends. 
   
• Prayer Ministry Weekends are held monthly on the first Sunday of each month after the 10 am and noon Masses and also during some Holy Hours.

• Please meet the Prayer Ministry Team in the back of the church near the Angel. They're happy to pray over individuals, couples, families and friends. 

• If it is not a scheduled Prayer Ministry Weekend Mass, people may seek out an usher and request prayer. If there is Prayer Minister available at that time, pray will happen after the Mass. If someone is not available, the usher will submit a prayer request to the Prayer Ministry Team and a Prayer Team member will reach out to contact you. 

Everyone in the parish is invited to participate in the monthly devotion to St. Monica by praying the St. Monica Chaplet.

Please meet in the Chapel after the 7 pm Mass on the first Tuesday of each month. The devotion is approximately 30 minutes long. 

People are encouraged to pray for the return of lapsed Catholics to the Sacraments, for conversion of our children & relatives, for difficult marriages, and alcoholics.
