Jubilee 2025 is a significant event in the Catholic Church, marking the 2,025th anniversary of the Incarnation of Jesus Christ, with celebrations beginning on December 24, 2024, when Pope Francis will open the Holy Door of St. Peter's Basilica. The theme for this Jubilee is "Pilgrims of Hope," emphasizing spiritual renewal and opportunities for indulgence through various events and pilgrimages.

A Family of Parishes is a group of generally three to six parishes in a geographic region that will work closely together, sharing clergy and resources to advance the mission of evangelization. A “Family of Parishes” is not a merger or cluster, and each individual parish in the family retains its own canonical identity.
St. Joseph Parish is a member of the Emmanuel Family of Parishes which includes Church of the Holy Family of Novi, St. James Parish of Novi, and St. William Parish of Walled Lake.
